Author Biography: Douglas Wilson, who lives in Victoria, BC, was born in Queen Charlotte City on January 7, 1943. He learned the art from his grandfather, Henry Yound, his uncle, Issac Hans, and from Tom Hans, Pat Dixon and Pat McGuire. A member of th eEagle moiety, he is a keen student of Haida history and the argillite art.
