Author Biography

After 14 years at sea, Captain Hagelund came ashore to work for 30 years as a Molson Engineer before retiring and taking command of the class 4 passenger vessel the SS Beaver for another 10 years. A model engineer and a government licensed prospector, he enjoys an active retirement. William Hagelund is also the author of Harbour Burning, Dowager Queen, and I Believe, also published by Hancock House.
